What kind of sand paper do you use when you are sanding something by hand? Do you sand by hand often or so you use a power sander? I like the look of hand sanding for finishing a project.
I don't have a particular brand of sand paper I use but I do hand sand quite a bit. There is something therapeutic about hand sanding a project.
Great question... Aren't there grades of sandpaper? You know a finer one for smaller projects or am I crazy? I don't mind hand sanding either - I think it looks nicer when finished.
Yes there are 2 grades of sandpaper - commercial and industrial. There are even different "grit" levels - the lower the grit the more rough the paper. I just wondered if anyone was brand specific. I'm glad you are not, I'm not either.
