I was watching the Daily Show yesterday and Jon Stewart's guest was Tom Selleck. Tom was talking about how much he loved woodworking at his ranch, where he has a big set-up for it. Jon said he liked woodworking as well, but he lives in an apartment, so he has no space for it. It's really interesting to see how many different folk enjoy woodworking.
I like The Daily show. Speaking of woodworking, I think I may have mentioned in another thread that Mark Harmon actually has his own woodworking tools as props on NCIS. Obviously he's into it as well.
I enjoy it when actors get to work some of their hobbies and passions into the show they appear on. That happens a lot with actors that are musicians, I've noticed, all of a sudden a plot line needs the actor to be a drummer or sax player so he can show off his chops
Wasn't Harrison Ford discovered on a film set where he was working as a carpenter? And speaking of musicians, I believe Hey Lewis worked as one as well.
You're right, Taggart, about Harrison Ford. I hadn't heard that about Huey Lewis. It's interesting to find out what stars did before they made it.
Sting was a gravedigger. I love The Daily Show.....but my favorite was when Jon Stewart was on Crossfire. He was great.
